Attention all FICA participants, artists, and visitors: please take note of the following information regarding the schedule for Sunday, July 27, as part of Traditions Day:
• The event will still take place in Tracouet.
• The ensemble pieces (5) will be performed in the morning only. There will be no ensemble pieces after the results and awards ceremony in the afternoon.
• The performances originally scheduled for 9:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (Canzoni e Costumi, Everd’bras, Trychlergruppe Alosen) have all been moved forward by 15 minutes.
• The ensemble pieces, the official part, and Peter Baumann's speech will take place from 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
• The program between 11:15 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. remains unchanged.
• The performances by the Montreux Yodler Club (2:30 p.m.), the Trychlergruppe Alosen (3:30 p.m.) and Everd’Brass (3:45 p.m.) have been canceled. Everd’Brass will probably play at the bottom of the cable car.
• The results, awards ceremony, and closing speech will take place at 2:30 p.m.• The 24th edition of FICA will end no later than 3:30 p.m. in Tracouet.
• The craft market will be moved to Haute-Nendaz, on the cable car square.
Important recommendations:
• Clothing suitable for the weather and altitude (2,200 m)
• Good shoes, preferably hiking boots
• Hats recommended for those who feel the cold, as the temperature is expected to be around 12 degrees
